Talking shouldn’t feel stressful
And it doesn’t have to stay that way.
At Emerald Coast Stuttering, we offer a different approach to stuttering for all ages.
Real support for real-life communication—delivered online, wherever you are in Florida.
Speaking can feel harder than it should
changing words mid-sentence
avoiding certain situations
feeling pressure building as you talk
replaying conversations afterwards
Maybe you’ve tried speech therapy before and it didn’t quite carry over into real life.
You’re not alone—and you’re not doing anything wrong.
This isn’t traditional speech therapy
At Emerald Coast Stuttering, we take a different approach to stuttering therapy.
Instead of focusing on “fixing” speech or forcing fluency, we focus on:
reducing pressure around talking
building more ease in real-life situations
helping you say what you want to say
Because communication is about more than how speech sounds—it’s about how it feels.
Sessions are provided online, so you can access support from home.
Adults
Navigate work conversations, meetings, phone calls, and everyday interactions
without constantly managing your speech.
Teens
Build communication skills, reduce avoidance, and feel more confident speaking in school and social settings.
Children
Support early communication in a way that builds confidence—not pressure, and help your child feel comfortable expressing themselves.
What Will Change
speaking with less tension
saying what you actually want to say
avoiding less
participating more fully in conversations
Not perfect speech—more freedom in how you communicate.
Meet Your Speech Therapist
Nikki Martin, M.S. CCC-SLP Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
I’m Nikki Martin, a speech-language pathologist and the founder of Emerald Coast Stuttering. I’ve spent over 20 years helping people with communication, with a special focus on supporting people who stutter.
My approach to stuttering therapy goes beyond speech techniques. It’s about reducing pressure, building confidence, and helping you feel more comfortable communicating in everyday life.
I understand how frustrating and exhausting it can feel to constantly manage your speech—and therapy shouldn’t add to that pressure.
You don’t have to navigate stuttering alone
